Introduction
Life Lab Foundation QuarkNet India (LLFQNI) is a collaboration to inspire the scientists of tomorrrow. LLFQNI uses authentic data from mega-projects such as the Large Hadron Collider at CERN as well as small investigations related to cutting-edge research to educate and empower students in India. To accomplish this, LLFQNI is assembling a group of motivated teachers from India, the U.S., and beyond to develop professionally together in particle physics and share ideas for the classroom.
The Way Forward
LLFQNI has formed a leadership group of educators in India under the direction of Dr. Archana Sharma of CERN. Together, the collaborate with staff and members of the U.S. QuarkNet program and Life Lab Foundation staff to meet online once per month for professional development, activities, and discussion. The first such meeting took place on January 14th, 2021, followed by nine more meetings through the year. The table below serves as a quide to meetings.
